The MF-P-HTD online sensor enables online measurement of paper, cardboard, cardboard and cellulose panels. The absolute water content and the temperature of the material under the sensor are measured in real time and transmitted to the control center via a selectable interface such as Modbus TCP or analog outputs.
The temperature is determined using an infrared sensor, and a high-frequency capacity measurement is used to measure the water content.
The measurement can be carried out on the stationary material or during the production process on pulp, paper, cardboard or cardboard moving past, for example in the corrugated board plant. The measurement is independent of the material speed. The MF-P-HTD sensor can be mounted on a traverse in order to be able to determine the moisture profile over the entire width of the product.
The specially developed PC software "HumiSenseWare" for MF-P-HTD sensors offers extensive functions such as measured value display, moisture calculation, type calibration or measurement data management. The Modbus TCP interface is required to use the software.
The measuring system enables a complete documentation of the product quality. The measured values can also be used for process control, for example the moistening or drying process.
