The car measuring device is used for the quick and precise detection of layer thicknesses on metals. In comparison to many other car measuring device, this car measuring device does not have to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the car measuring device, one-hand operation is possible. Despite its small size, the car measuring device has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm).
The measured values displayed can be output in µm, mm and in mils on the car measuring device. In addition to measuring the layer thickness, the car measuring device can determine the smallest, the largest and also the mean value from a series of different measurements. The car measuring device also has an automatic switch-off function.
