The humimeter WLW The wood moisture measuring device was developed - in accordance with EN ISO 13183-2 - specifically for the professional determination of wood moisture content in the manufacturing processes of sawmills, joineries and timber construction companies. It impresses with a high impact depth, a large measuring range and a robust design. The device is adjusted according to Kascalestion for the reference method EN ISO 13183-1 and also meets the requirements of EN 14080 Appendix G.
Definition of wood moisture content:
The wood moisture defines the amount of water contained in the test sample, related to its dry weight.
To use the device, an additional measuring probe must be ordered.
The following requirements are met:

Handling and measurement process
The entire measuring process with the humimeter WLW wood moisture meter is finished in just a few seconds.
Choose a part of the wood WITHOUT bark, branches, pitch pockets or cracks. Switch on the humimeter WLW wood moisture meter, plug in the sensor cable into the socket and fix the plug by turning the screw connection. Select the right wood type and drive the ram electrode in the right angle to the grain into the wood.
The measured value can be read off the display immediately and also saved. To increase the measurement accuracy, carry out several measurements and save them. The humimeter WLW The measuring device automatically calculates the mean value from the stored measured values in a matter of seconds.
