The cable fault meter represents a powerful and versatile measuring instrument specifically designed for the precise measurement of electrical cables and conductors. With an impressive measurement range from 0.1 meters to an astonishing 30 kilometers, this device can measure and display cable lengths. Since the cable fault meter determines length based on conductor resistance, it can also measure resistance from 0.1 mΩ to 1999.9 Ω. In this measurement principle, it is also necessary to connect the Kelvin clamps to both cable ends.
The temperature monitoring function, covering an operating range of -5 °C to +50 °C, allows taking into account the influence of temperature fluctuations on length measurement. The cable fault meter supports the display of cable length in various units, including meters (m), kilometers (km), and feet (ft), to meet the diverse requirements of users and nations.
The implementation of 8 memory slots allows the user to individually configure and store cable types for quick access to frequently used settings. This function significantly enhances the practicality of the device.
By integrating support for both copper and aluminum cables, the tester opens up applications in various industrial environments. Furthermore, the option to select standard cable types ranging from 0.15 mm² to 240 mm² allows the user to precisely configure according to the specific requirements of their application.
