• Reciprocating - platform moves aggressively back and forth horizontally making it ideal for applications such as extractions
• Microtiter (Microplate) - specifically designed to provide a fast-mixing action about a tight orbit
Rockers – like platform shakers but much less aggressive on the sample
• See-Saw - platform rocks on a central point providing a wave motion, ideal for washing
• Gyro (3D) - platform moves in a three-dimensional motion around central point gently swirling samples. Ideal for cell culturing, staining and de-staining
