This SIL2-certified fixed gas detector was made specifically for the marine industry, designed and certified to meet the extreme environments of the marine industry and comply with regulatory requirements. With either catalytic or infrared sensor options to detect flammable gases such as butane, methane, pentane and propane, you can be confident the SMART S-MS MED provides a bespoke approach to your flammable gas detection needs, both on land or at sea.
The system has been certified by the Lloyd’s Register following MED/3.54 Regulation and is SIL2 hardware and SIL3 software, with a redundant system also the hardware is SIL3.
