BOECO GP Series Bottle-top Dispenser

The BOECO GP Series Bottle-top Dispenser is a highly accurate instrument designed to simplify routine liquid handling tasks. It features a positive displacement piston with a fluoroplastic (PFA) sealing lip that prevents crystal formation on the cylinder wall, similar to a windshield wiper. This sealing mechanism protects the dispenser from crystallizable media. Additionally, the glass cylinder is coated with a plastic material to reduce the risk of splashes in the event of breakage. The telescopic filling tube is adjustable, allowing it to easily adapt to the height of different bottles.

The materials in contact with the liquid, such as borosilicate glass, AI2O3 ceramic, ETFE, FEP, PFA, PTFE, platinum-iridium, and PP (closure cap), are resistant to most acids, bases, and solvents, making the dispenser suitable for use with a wide range of chemicals, including salt solutions, acids, bases, and organic solvents. The BOECO GP Series Bottle-top Dispensers are also fully autoclavable at 121°C (2 bar) in accordance with DIN EN 285. They are available with either a DAkkS calibration certificate or an individual quality certificate.

Operating Limits and Exclusions:

• Operating temperature: +15°C to +40°C for both the instrument and the reagent.
• Maximum steam pressure: 600 mbar.
• Maximum kinematic viscosity: 500 mm²/s.
• Maximum density: 2.2 g/cm³.
• Liquids that can damage the materials (e.g., sodium azide, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid > 60%, tetrahydrofuran, and trifluoroacetic acid) should be avoided.
• Not suitable for explosive liquids (e.g., carbon disulfide) or suspensions with solid particles (e.g., charcoal) that may clog or damage the instrument.
• Liquids that attack the PP closure cap should not be used.
