CableIQ works on live copper networks to provide Ethernet switch detection and device configuration. Especially useful in harsh industrial environments, CableIQ tests data rates and quickly finds common cable faults caused by vibration, extreme flexing, moisture, and expansion and contraction from temperature change. It checks continuity on all wires and displays results graphically, so you can see opens, shorts, and crossed wires. CableIQ also reports the distance to an open connection within the cable.
