The Honeywell FS20X Plus flame detector responds to Hydrocarbon, non-Hydrocarbon, and Hydrogen fires with an increased range of detection while simplifying flame detection in a single device. DETECTING FLAMES, FROM A RANGE OF SOURCES
Honeywell FS20X Plus has one ultraviolet and three infrared sensor bands that monitor key wavelengths. Triple IR and especially the WideBand IR can see flames that become almost invisible to single or narrow band detectors during poor conditions, the UV protects against nuisance alarms and broadens the types of flaming fires detectable.
Without the need to rely on CO2 spikes like narrow band detectors todetect emerging flames, Honeywell FS20X Plus can monitor the bands that are most likely to see a fire.
ENGINEERED FOR RELIABLE FLAME DETECTION
Honeywell FS20X Plus has dual microprocessors to ensure robust, reliable flame detection. The first manages high-speed digital sampling and signal-processing. The second handles sensor data, communications and self-diagnostics — plus added memory for event logs.
