The Honeywell Searchline Excel is a hazardous area certified flammable Infrared Open Path Gas Detector. This gas detector is ideal for applications in the harshest environments where reliability and performance are critical. The Searchline Excel provides a vast area of coverage, a very high speed of response and no unseen failure modes
The unit consists of both a transmitter and receiver, for mounting at each end of the path that is to be monitored. There are three Searchline Excel versions available: Short Range (5-40m), Medium Range (40-120m) and Long Range (120-200m). Hazardous area approvals include European (ATEX), North American (UL) and Canadian (CSA). The receiver output is 3 3-wire 4-20mA selectable sink or source.
