Robinson 800 Series Heated Centrifuges
The laboratory version of our popular Field Centrifuge, the Robinson 800 Series Heated Centrifuges are designed to operate from 115VAC or 230VAC power sources. Each centrifuge has a built-in sample heater for added convenience, and is thermostatically controlled to hold samples at recommended temperatures during testing. The housing is made from solid-cast aluminum for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. The smooth-start variable speed rheostat controller reduces tube breakage and gives the operator precise motor control. Each machine is equipped with an analog timer that allows the operator to set the testing time from 1 to 15 minutes. Optional models are compatible with 100mL short cone, 100mL pear shape, or 12.5mL sample tubes. The A-style flip lid has a spring-loaded latch to remain closed during operation and features a lid access hole so that motor rpm can be checked while the lid is down. Centrifuge tubes sold separately.
