In order to be able to guarantee precise measured values ​​in the long term, the humimeter Grain moisture meter automatically performs a self-calibration after switching on.
The relevant characteristic curve for the type of grain to be measured can then be selected on the device.
The measuring chamber of the grain measuring device is then filled with the required amount of the grain type. In order to determine the exact amount of grain, a scale and a measuring cup are included in the scope of delivery.

Thanks to a "hold function", the measured values ​​can be frozen on the display until the next button is pressed.
In order to increase the measurement accuracy and reproducibility, different hectoliter weight levels are stored in the device. This means that different bulk densities do not have a negative impact on the measurements. The entire grain moisture meter series has been calibrated and checked using the calibratable drying method EN-ISO 712.
At the same time, the sample temperature is measured, displayed and included in the moisture calculation.
The temperature range is from 0°C to 40°C and can be displayed in either °C or °F.

The water content can immediately be read off the large, well-lit display of the grain moisture tester.
