The humimeter FS4.2 is the perfect universal moisture meter for salt, granules and powder. The device can be calibrated for various bulk materials, granules and powders. The sample does not have to be ground or otherwise prepared for the measurement process. The moisture analyzer determines the water content immediately after filling the sample into the measuring chamber.
The measuring device is equipped with calibration curves for road salt (de-icing salt), sea salt and table salt. The creation of calibration curves on customer request is possible for granulates and powder at any time.
The analyser is mobile and can be used anywhere on site. A lengthy and cost-intensive drying process in the oven is therefore not necessary.
This measuring method enables a good mean value to be obtained by measuring large amounts of sewage sludge in a very short time. The robust design and the constantly further developed measuring electronics guarantee a high measuring accuracy for a long period of use.

Handling and measurement process
After switching on the unit, select the calibration curve corresponding to the material to be measured with the moisture meter. Fill the granulate or powder into the measuring chamber of the humimeter FSXNUMX. It is important that the correct amount of material is filled into the measuring chamber. The display shows the prescribed amount of material (e.g. XNUMX grams). The correct amount of material can be prepared with the help of the supplied measuring cup and the scale.
The display of the humimeter FS4.2 immediately shows the water content and temperature. Moist cores and dry outer layers are taken into account in the high-frequency measuring procedure - The average value of the entire filled-in sample is calculated and shown on the display.
By effecting various measurements in different areas of the pile, the average water content can be determined immediately.
The measuring values can be stored on the device,further information such like batch number can be added. With the optional USB interface the measuring values can be transferred to a PC, and via LogMemorizer® the data can be archived, exported, processed or printed out.
